Would you like to attend an upcoming event of the 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) of the United Nations—virtually?

Are you interested in learning about CSW as a key mechanism where global policy for gender justice is discussed, debated, and shaped?

Do you want to learn about feminist, youth and LGBTIQ agendas for this year’s priority theme?

If any of these questions resonate with you, or you simply wish to get more involved in high-level policy advocacy for gender justice, then you may be interested in joining the sessions organized by the NGO/CSW  and specifically the Gender Equality Coalition of Ontario outlined below.

Each year the CSW has a priority theme, which puts the focus on discussions and advocacy efforts around the world. This year’s priority theme is all about the digital age and technological change. In addition, the Theme from five years past is revisited to explore the progress made around the world.

Themes:

Priority Theme: Innovation and technological change and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. (CSW67)

Review Theme: Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls. (CSW62).
