Respect: Workplace Wellbeing
This workshop (Core Course) is delivered as part of the UN Global Compact Network Canada’s support to 50 – 30 Challenge participants in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. Workplaces are microcosms of society and negative attitudes or behaviours such as microaggressions, antagonism, and bullying can be prevalent in these spaces. This session explores negative behaviours in the workplace, highlighting how they can impact employee wellbeing and organizational culture. Through case studies, statistical analysis, and peer-to-peer learning, participants will gain a deeper understanding of what constitutes genuine respect in the workplace and how to ensure they are contributing to an inclusive environment. At the end of the session, attendees will have learned strategies to activate their allyship and combat microaggressions and workplace discrimination, while promoting individual and organizational wellbeing.
