Intercultural Competence Workshop
This course is delivered as part of the UN Global Compact Network Canada’s support to 50 – 30 Challenge participants in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. This workshop is a deep-dive into improving cultural competency in the workplace with a focus on dimensions of the cultural development model, intercultural sensitivity training, and sharing strategies to enhance professional communication and respect for cultural diversity. Participants will leave the session with tested strategies to enhance their professional intercultural competence and build capacity for this work at their organizations. The workshop is intended to be informative and interactive, encouraging peer-to-peer learning and sharing. The workshop platform provides a safe and anonymous space to interact, share experiences, and best practices.
