scotiabankAs noted in the WE EMPOWER: Responsible Business Conduct in G7 Countries release, Scotiabank has set up 21 employee focus groups across Canada and its Pacific Alliance Countries ( Mexico, Peru, Chile & Columbia) to obtain feedback on the barriers to achieving gender balance in leadership roles.

They were recently recognized for their work aligned with the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPS) specifically:

  • Principle #1: Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality;

  • Principle #4: Promote education, training and professional development for women and;
